There is something innately satisfying about the linear, smooth powerband that comes from BMW's signature inline 6 cylinder platform. We love the M57 for what it is: the perfect daily driver platform that can provide both monster torque and killer MPGs. And we decided to make it even better by designing an intake that eliminates restriction and increases air flow allowing for peak gain of 20 wheel HP and 26 ft-lbs of torque at the wheel*.
*Test vehicle was equipped with a Burger JBD device and Malone Stage 1 Tune. The power numbers are, however, not the most impressive part of this intake. Our intake really makes M57 powered BMWs feel even more linear and predictable, capitalizing on this powerplant's existing strength.

Like with any of our projects, our in-house team of engineers designed this intake all in CAD. Our heat shield is CNC aluminum, powder coated wrinkle black and featuring edge trim and a Turner brand plate. The heat shield retains factory air scoop compatibility, allowing maximum intake of cold, fresh air. The Snorkel we've included is wrinkle black powder coated CNC aluminum which can be purchased separately (T638531). Our M57 intake factory MAF housing. Lastly, as with all of our intake the filter is both cleanable and reusable - constructed from 8 ply oiled cotton gauze with a bell mouth inlet that maximizes flow and filtration efficiency.
